A note from the artist

Hi, I’m Huyler—the artist behind Olive Art and Design. I'm so glad you're here!

​My creative journey began in my grandfather’s architecture studio in Charlottesville. Growing up, I was captivated by watching him draw and loved exploring every corner of his creative space. It’s no surprise that art class quickly became my sanctuary all through school (you can see a few of my early pieces below!).

Today, I live in Richmond with my husband, daughter, our dog and our cat (Olive!). I find my inspiration in the everyday—the shifting seasons, a familiar scent. My goal is to create pieces that bring happiness to your home and add a little extra joy to your celebrations.
